How to Care for Orchids
Potted moth orchids want bright indirect light and a thorough water when the mix is nearly dry. Ice cubes are not a care method.
- Place in bright, indirect light — not a hot south-facing sill.
- Water when the potting mix is almost dry; drain fully.
- For cut stems, recut and keep water clean.
Phalaenopsis is generally listed as non-toxic to cats and dogs; other orchid genera can differ.
